About Me

I am Christoffer Søndergaard and I am a developer

I am a self-taught 30 years old guy, from Aalborg, Denmark with 15 years of experience working with computer software.
I initially started working with software as a hobby, but my undying passion for it lead me to also pursue it as a career path. Over the years I have acquired experience in a diverse set of fields, covering anything from level design, programming, game development, desktop application creation, website development amongst other areas.
I enjoy learning new things, and putting them to use, and I am always looking to expand upon my knowledge and face new challenges.

Lead Developer

In 2018 I became the lead developer of CPH-Gaming. Being in charge of 3 to 5 other developers and the general development, and thereby helping CPH-Gaming growing in to today's largest Danish gaming community that focuses on the Counter-Strike franchise.

IT Supporter, Web Designer & System Developer

XPI ApS was a small business focusing on economic systems, where I was put in charge of the company's IT-Support, system development, as well as the design, creation and transition of the company's new website. XPI was acquired by a larger company shortly thereafter.

2015 - 2018

Freelance Developer

I dived further in to the software programming aspect, and started to focus more on developing costum solutions. I took unpaid as well as paid requests, to learn and expand upon my skills. The requests varied in nature, and allowed me to acquire a broad ranging set of skills.

2010 - 2016

Game Server Supporter

I offered my services in installing, updating and providing remote support to owners of game servers. I also started developing my own custom solutions, and when I was busiest I provided support to over 60 game servers.

Personal Qualities

Innovative

Innovation comes naturally to me. I love idea generating, and when I work on projects, by the time I finish a project, I tend to have enough ideas for three new ones.

Organized

I am organized and structured in my work. Through leading a small group of developers, I've learned that organization is the key to maximizing group effeciency.

Communicative

Throughout my education, focus has been put on good communication. I have plenty of tools that I use to prevent, and deescalate conflicts, to always ensure good communication .

Solution Oriented

I am solution oriented and problem solving is a forte of mine. Combined with my innovative approach I very rarely run in to any problem that I perceive as unsolvable.

Focused

Former colleagues and project collaborator, have told that they are impressed by my focus and dedication to the task at hand. My work ethic is also complimented from time to time.

Team Player

I can work fine alone, and I also do well in teams. My personality allows me to take on any role the group may need, in order to complete the task without compromising the team.
